Whether it’s today’s mild sunshine, an important race, a closely-watched ballot question, or simply the vaunted “ground game” that candidates have been talking about, Bedford polls are uncommonly busy today.

Election watchers suggest that Bedford’s turn out is more like a Presidential year instead of a mid-term election. Around 10:30 this morning JGMS Principal Kevin Tracey said, “It is busy now, but the parking lot was really jumping earlier.” Election officials handled a steady stream of voters wishing to cast their ballots.

The Bedford Citizen will post the final tally from today’s races as soon as the results are available.
