Best Retail Practices Workshop for Small Businesses at Cucina D in Bedford on March 25

Middlesex 3In collaboration with the Bedford Economic Development Office and the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, the Middlesex 3 Coalition is pleased to sponsor an exciting workshop offering professional advice and fresh ideas to benefit retailers, restauranteurs and storefront small businesses in the Middlesex 3 region.

The first workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 25 from 6-8pm at Cucina D’s, 54 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA.  An opportunity for business owners to network with one another and enjoy light appetizers will begin at 5:30 pm.

This free program provides fresh ideas and valuable instruction in the areas of business identity and positioning, store and restaurant design, visual merchandising and retail marketing.   Tips, tools, trends and “tricks of the trade” will be shared — and business owners’ specific questions, answered.

The Best Retail Practices Program was founded by Christine Moynihan in 2002 and has helped proprietors improve their businesses through workshops and one on one consultations throughout Massachusetts.   Formerly the VP of Retail Marketing for a national footwear brand, Chris has helped launch a number of new stores around the country and has worked to improve long-time, independent retail establishments for over 20 years.  Over 1,500 retailers have attended her workshops and more than 500 small businesses have taken advantage of her consultation services through programs like the Massachusetts Downtown Initiative.  Every attendee at the workshop will receive Ms. Moynihan’s booklet: A Retailer’s Gut Check, A Self-Assessment Guide for Small Business.

In addition, financing information will be provided by Northern Bank & Trust and follow up assistance will be available from the Merrimack Valley Small Business Center.

The workshop is open and free to all businesses in the area.  Registration is not required however seating is often limited at this popular business workshop and registration is recommended.
