Jim Parks and Wingmasters’ birds of prey visited Davis School recently.

All of the students in grades K-2 had an opportunity to learn interesting facts about some of the wild birds living in our neighborhood.

Each of  the birds visiting Davis had injured wings so they were unable to live without the support of Wingmasters.  Mr. Parks introduced the birds to the students and shared their unique stories and their rescue.

In packing up after his presentations, Mr. Parks commented on the Davis students’ inquisitive questions and thoughtful answers, as well as their respect for the birds.

The BEST/PTO funded the Wingmasters visit,  and Jane Patterson’s coordination ensured a successful day.
