Bedford TV won the Northeast Chapter of the Alliance for Community Media’s Overall Excellence award for stations with budgets between $100K and $300K. The Northeast Chapter covers all of New England and New York, and happens to be where most PEG (Public, Educational and Government) stations in the United States are located, so it is a prestigious award.
The award was based in part on the compilation video that Bedford TV submitted.
Bedford TV also won a second place award in the “Diversity and Empowerment” category for a video about the Tenacity Challenge at Bedford High School.
The award will be presented at the annual ACM Northeast Region’s Trade Show & Conference which is will be held in Hartford, CT in November.
