This coming Sunday, September 27, the Friends of Fawn Lake will celebrate the second annual Fawnstock, a festival of Fawn Lake and all it has to offer, on the shores of Bedford’s beautiful man-made lake at the end of Sweetwater Avenue.

The festival features live music by local band Stacy and the Party and BHS’s own Allen Zhou, ice cream for purchase from Bedford Farms, and a raffle for Patriots tickets. The VW Microbus from Minuteman Volkswagen will be back for your best Fawn Lake selfies. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, kayaks, and canoes! The festival is free and open to all.

Last year’s inaugural Fawnstock was a rousing success, bringing scores of Bedford residents and friends to the lake to enjoy the late-summer sunshine and camaraderie. The Friends of Fawn Lake, a community organization dedicated to preserving this slice of history and nature in Bedford, invites young and old to this year’s festival, which is sure to be another wonderful day.
