The Bedford Social Club invites the community to attend a Fairy Home and Garden presentation by Ashley Rooney and Barbara Purchia on October 14th at 7pm in St.Michael’s’ parish hall.

Drawing on their book Fairy Homes and Gardens reviewed by Good Reads and the New York Times, Ashley and Barbara describe many varieties of fairy houses to inspire you to make your own – with or without a child! We will show you beautiful fairy homes and gardens created by well-known international fairy home and garden designers.

This beautiful presentation is filled with proven design tips, exceptional fairy gardens, and plenty of lush photos to spark your ideas. Barbara and Ashley will have a few books for sale and will be happy to autograph them.

Today, thanks to the creative spirit of artists, designers, grandparents and children, fairy homes and gardens have become widespread. Botanical gardens and museums hold participatory exhibits; garden shops present a how-to-make your own fairy garden seminar; even the NY Times has written about them.

This presentation is supported in part by a grant from the Bedford Cultural Council,a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

For more information and to register to attend please contact Nancy Bilafer at 781-275-7722 or at [email protected]
