A group of  8th graders at the John Glenn Middle School have organized themselves as the Alpha Team to perform community service in Bedford.

Under the tutelage of advisor James Nagle, a Social Studies teacher for the Silver Team at JGMS, the Alpha Team has already accomplished multiple projects.

On a recent Saturday morning they met at the playground and collected garbage, including a cell phone that was turned in at the police station. November 3, a staff development day for Bedford teachers, found the Alpha Team at the  Council of Aging, playing board games and hanging outwith the seniors.

Alpha Team members include Jordan Alper, Alex Barga, Emilie Hsu, Isaac Lovy, Kayleigh Mason, Cole Parks, Connor Patterson, Andrew Presti, Katelyn Stewart, Jordan Vinh, and Mack Wright.

Correction, November 11, 2015: A full list of Alpha team members replaced the partial list posted earlier.

Jordan Alper, Alex Barga, Emilie Hsu, Isaac Lovy, Kayleigh Mason, Cole Parks, Connor Patterson, Andrew Presti, Katelyn Stewart, Jordan Vinh, and Mack Wright.
