Chefs from all over the area will come together to cook and serve up some of their best appetizers, entrees, and desserts in tasting portions at tables where attendees can meet, greet, and eat in the company of friends, family, and foodies.  The Bedford Bucappellas will add to the festivities with background music.Over the past several weeks Chamber of Commerce restaurant reviewer extraordinaire Ken Gordon (also known as a Chamber of Commerce member and Bedford’s State Representative) has reviewed many  participating restaurants:

This year’s menu includes offerings such as Black & Blue Sirloin Crostine with Roquefort Cheese/Charred Onions from Sora, and Creole Shrimp with Polenta in zesty cream sauce from Burtons Grill.

Key sponsor Nathaniel Brown began supporting Flavors of Bedford years ago when someone from the Bedford Chamber of Commerce asked his firm to participate.  “I felt that it was an opportunity to share with the town and to help out financially in a community activity,” said Brown.  “Some people dress up to come, and it’s a lot of fun.”

Major sponsorship for Flavors of Bedford is provided by the Law Offices of Brown & Brown, P.C., and the Doubletree Bedford Glen Hotel.

Come to the Doubletree Bedford Glen Hotel at 44 Middlesex Turnpike on November 8 from 4 to 6 pm for the food, for the fun, but also for the community. Tickets are $40 per person and $30 for seniors; there are discounts available for larger parties. For more information visit the Flavors of Bedford website at www.flavorsofbedford.org

Flavors of Bedford is a major fundraiser for the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, a group that works to maintain and improve the quality of business and home life in Bedford.  Part of this year’s proceeds also go to support Friends of Hanscom, and the Chamber hosts twenty returning deployed soldiers and their families for the afternoon.
