Cultural Council Grant Will Fund Our New Community Calendar
As you may know, The Citizen was one of seventeen local organizations recently awarded a grant by the Bedford Cultural Council. The grant will be used toward the creation of an online community calendar which we hope will be the “go to” resource for residents for information about town events, meetings, and activities. We are proud to be a recipient and grateful to the BCC for their consideration.
Bedford is a busy place as we are all aware and a readily available tool for planning and scheduling will make life easier for both individuals and organizations. Your financial support at this time will help ensure that we complete this project in a timely manner. Can we count on you to make a donation?
Another Way to Help
While we can’t pretend we don’t need your dollars, you can also contribute meaningfully to The Citizen by writing for us. We’ll help you get started and provide fact checking and editing support.
We are particularly interested in regular coverage of meetings of The Board of Selectmen, School Committee, Planning Board, and Finance Committee. We are able to offer compensation for coverage of meetings of these boards.
