The 2016 Town Caucus – Date, time and place

The caucus will take place on January 12 at 7:00 pm in the large instruction room at the John Glenn Middle School on McMahon Road.

Getting onto the Ballot

Nomination at the Town Caucus is one of the ways candidates can get their names on the ballot. Those who are selected will be listed at “Caucus Nominee.”  Under caucus rules up to two candidates can be nominated for each open position.

A second path is for a candidate to take ot nomination papers from the Town Clerk and collect a minimum of 50 signatures from registered voters. Papers for nomination may be picked up at the Town Clerk’s office until January 20, 2016.  The completed papers with the signatures must be filed with the Town Clerk by January 22, 2016. The Town Election is on Saturday, March 12.
