Bedford-based Kammerwerke Double Wind Quintet, Alan Pearlmutter, conductor,  presents The French Connection, a concert at First Parish Unitarian Universalist, 75 The Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts.  Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will include:  Gabriel Fauré’s Pavane; Emile Bernard’s Divertissement for wind instruments, Op. 36; Georges Enesco’s Dixtuor; Francis Casadesus’s London Sketches: petite suite humoristique pour instruments à vent; and more.

KDWQ features rarely heard original compositions and arrangements of more well-known classical works for ten wind instruments.  Dectets, rather rare in America, combine the intimacy of chamber groups and the power of larger ensembles; the sound resonates with a full panorama of orchestral color, depth and brilliance.

Tickets: Adults $20; Seniors/Students/FPB attendees $15; 13-18 $10; 12 and under Free.
Advance Ticket Reservations and information: Email www.kwwinds.org or check our website www.kammerwerke.org .  Handicapped Accessible.  Supported by grants from the Bedford, Chelmsford, Concord and Lexington Cultural Councils, local agencies of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
