Submitted by Jessica Sacco/JGPR on behalf of the Bedford Police Department

BPDpatchChief Robert Bongiorno reports that the Bedford Police Department arrested four suspects in connection with a home invasion yesterday.

On Friday, at 11:47 a.m., police responded to Fletcher Road for a reported residential breaking and entering in progress.

A witness reported seeing an unfamiliar vehicle parked in the driveway and several men attempting to enter the house by prying on a window near the front door.

As a result, the four men were arrested:  Yi Wei Lin, age 34, address unknown; Cheng Ni, age 43 of Boston; Ming Hua Wu, age 50, of Quincy; and Xue Tan Zheng, age 21, of Boston.

One suspect was stopped in a vehicle by officers on Fletcher Road and the other three were located inside the residence. They were all charged with Breaking and Entering During the Daytime for Felony, Possession of Burglarious Tools and Malicious Destruction of Property over $250.

Officers also located a notebook inside a black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the area that contained many addresses throughout New England believed to be related to other break-ins. Police do not believe this was a random crime and are actively involving businesses and homeowners in their investigation.

“This investigation remains active and ongoing,” Chief Bongiorno said. “We are working with our law enforcement partners to determine whether these suspects are connected to other break-ins.”

All four suspects will be arraigned at Concord District Court on Monday.

Anyone who has information on these suspects is encouraged to contact Bedford Police Detectives at 781-275-1212.
