Are you at risk for heart disease? To commemorate February’s American Heart Month, The Thoreau Club will host a free workshop to help individuals identify risk factors for heart disease and learn tips for preventing cardiac issues.
Ginny Dow, RN, BSN, BC, CCRP and Manager of Emerson Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention Program, will present this informative session. Participants will learn risk factors for heart disease, tips for prevention, and learn a prescription for a healthy lifestyle. There will be ample time for questions.
Healthy Heart Lessons from Real Life is free and open to the public; it will take place on Wednesday, February 24 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at The Thoreau Club, 275 Forest Ridge Road, Concord. Registration is complimentary and part of The Thoreau Club’s HealthyCare series. Bring your friends and family and become educated about cardiac health.
