Despite keeping a sharp eye on the horizon for the last several days, no rainbows have been seen in Bedford skies.  Given Thursday’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, The Citizen had been keeping its fingers crossed for a potential pot of gold, with or without a leprechaun.  Alas, we remain dependent on our loyal readers for financial support.  Will you please consider making a donation today?

As we speak, in addition to our regular coverage The Citizen is hard at work developing a prototype for a unified town calendar that will allow for one-stop scheduling and tracking of all town-related events.  It is our hope that this will become a user-friendly tool with better visibility on mobile devices to give our readers information about all the whats, wheres, and whens of Bedford’s busy town life.  This information will make it easy for everyone to join in all that Bedford has to offer.  We are grateful to the Bedford Cultural Council for awarding us a grant to begin this project.  Your financial support will ensure that we bring a unified town calendar to a successful – and sustainable – conclusion.

If you’d like to contribute, you can write a check to The Bedford Citizen, PO Box 212, Bedford, MA 01730.  Or click here to use your credit card and indicate whether your donation is a one-time or monthly gift.  As always, we are grateful for your support.  Don’t forget – The Citizen is a 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax exempt to the extent allowed by law.  Your feedback is important to us, too – use our website or contact me directly at [email protected].
