Bedford’s Selectmen will discuss two options for and the financial implications of Bedford’s refuse and recycling contract at 7:45 pm on May 31 in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at Town Hall.
- The first option is to maintain the status quo with weekly recycling bin pickups in the Town.
- The second option is to implement weekly automated collection of recycling using 64-gallon carts.
The current contract with Republic Services expires June 30, 2016.
The public is encouraged and invited to attend this public meeting to discuss its preference between the two options.
