The Bedford Community Table/Pantry has been providing free community dinners at Town Center on Thursdays during the school year for 25 years.

For the 2016-17 season, we need to fill two key volunteer jobs in order to keep them going.

Everyone involved enjoys being part of this sociable community effort, and we hope you’ll join us.

Here’s what’s available:

  • Dinner Coordinator: The coordinator oversees the dinner program, including setting up the schedule of cooks, servers, and the clean-up crews; sending weekly reminder notices to dinner volunteers; finding volunteers to fill holes in an existing schedule; and coordinating volunteers from home through E-Mail and phone calls. This job can be done on your own schedule.
  • Dinner Host: The host comes to each dinner, greets dinner guests, helps servers, and troubleshoots any problems that come up. The time requirement is each Thursday from 4:30 to 5:45 PM during the school year.

If you would like to learn more about either of these opportunities, please use the contact form at www.bedfordfoodpantry.org, or leave a message with your contact info at 781-275-7355.

We look forward to hearing from you!
