Bedford Teens Are Eligible to Apply for Local Massport-funded Summer Jobs

Town of Bedford New SealMassport has offered a grant to fund local summer jobs for teens who live in the communities served by Massport including the Hanscom Field communities of Bedford, Concord, Lexington and Lincoln.

The program, initiated and funded by Massport in 1991, assists communities in meeting their increased social service, recreation and maintenance needs, assisting high school, college and post graduate students to find summer employment.

Teens who are residents of one of the Towns listed above and are enrolled in an educational program (high school, college or postgraduate) are eligible to apply for this program in the Town of Bedford.  Workers in the area of Conservation Land Maintenance are particularly invited to apply.

The work period will begin in Tuesday, July 5th and will through Friday, August 5th.  The Town of Bedford is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
