We are honored to introduce our Pedal Partner – Brooklyn. Brooklyn was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma on January 22nd, 2014.

Brookie spent nearly all of 2014 at Boston Children’s Hospital following a harsh treatment protocol involving six months of chemotherapy, a 14 hour tumor resection surgery, bone marrow transplant, radiation, and immunotherapy. Over the course of her treatment she trucked through numerous complications and harsh side effects with a smile on her face! Two years after her diagnosis Brooklyn has been declared NED (no evidence of disease) and has been enjoying kindergarten, play dates, and dance class once again.

But, there is not a day that goes by that we don’t recognize her strength and resiliency or think of the fellow Warriors trudging through treatment now.

Brooklyn and Keri are so thankful for the doctors and staff at the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber who have taken such great care of them during those difficult days.

The money we raise helps to fund research working to eradicate cancer like Neuroblastoma so no child has to endure what Brooklyn went through.
