Brush Fire mapAccording to the Bedford Police and Fire Departments’ Twitter feeds, a large brush fire broke out late Thursday afternoon on acreage owned by Middlesex Community College, north of the campus buildings in an area near Springs Road and Route 3.

First Responders from the Bedford Fire and Police Departments are being assisted by departments from Billerica, Concord, Lexington, Hanscom Air Force Base, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), and Armstrong Ambulance, along with staff from the College.
