The newest Bedford TV Volunteer of the Month is Dawn Kociubes.
You may know Dawn best from her weekly appearances on the Bedford TV News where she has been co-anchor of the live show with Jenn Puhle since September, 2014. Dawn’s versatility as an anchor gives her the ability to do everything from report about serious issues in town to give more light-hearted takes on the week-to-week happenings of a small town. She also uses her ability as an interviewer to bring out the stories of news guests in an entertaining fashion.
Additionally, Dawn hosts Bedford Backstage, a program that highlights the talents of young people in town. Similar to the news, Dawn balances the serious aspects of training and developing one’s craft with fun questions that allow the viewer to get to know these talented performers in a different way. Dawn’s on air talent is a big factor in the success of the programs she is on, but more importantly Dawn brings fun and positivity to all the projects that she is involved in. It was with great pleasure that we presented her with a gift card from Bedford TV Community Partner Red Heat Tavern to recognize her exceptional service to the station.
