Absentee Ballots Available for September 8 State Primary

Vote buttonAccording to Town Clerk Doreen Tremblay, absentee ballots for the September 8 state primary are available at the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way.

The election will determine the party candidates for Representative in Congress for the Sixth District, Councillor for the Third District, Senator in the General Court for the Third Middlesex District, and Representative in the General Court for the Twenty-first Middlesex District.

You may obtain an absentee ballot if you will be traveling, or are a student, disabled or in the military. Please complete the application below to request an absentee ballot.

To vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office, please call ahead, 781-275-0083. The Town Clerk’s office is open from  8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Absentee ballots must be received in the Town Clerk’s office by noon on Wednesday, September 7, the day before the State Primary.

Senator in General Court Third Middlesex District

  • Michael J. Barrett 7, Lexington – Candidate for Re-nomination

Representative in General Court, Twenty-First Middlesex District

  • Kenneth I. Gordon, Bedford – Current State Representative; Candidate for Re-nomination

Sheriff, Middlesex County

  • Peter J. Koutoujian, Waltham – Current Sheriff; Former Assistant District Attorney
