Bedford Recreation Department’s 26th annual Junior Summer Stock production, adapted from the 1951 film ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by director Amy Budka and assistant Deanna Lobo, presented both a matinee and an evening performance on Thursday, August 11.

Scores of young thespians sported colorful costumes as they sang and danced, and the on-stage enthusiasm was evident. Their musical numbers — accompanied by Bukda on drums, Marco Peralta on piano and Sungya Han’s bass/guitar — were both fresh and familiar.

Melanie Cordiero choreographed the production; Seda Korroch, Maya Deparalta and Nicholas Gutersloh worked lights and sound; Noah Southard, Kate Winkler, Maddie Siegal and Annie Fotis served as production assistants.
