Bedford TV is proud to award Maria Wilson volunteer of the month for July, 2016. Maria is a BHS student and a member of the Bedford TV news team.
While Maria usually presents the weather, she has also filled in at the anchor desk and read the sports report. Her flexibility in being able to fill any on-air position for the news has been invaluable to keeping the volunteer-run show going week-to-week.
Maria’s talents also extend behind the camera where she works as an intern at Bedford TV. As an intern Maria has worked on a number of projects including promotional videos for the station and tips for beginner videographers. She has also worked in the control room on many studio productions, where she has done everything from run camera and audio to operate the switcher.
Maria’s talent and positive attitude make her a pleasure to work with, and it is with great pleasure that B-TV presented her with a gift card from the station’s Community Partner Red Heat Tavern to recognize her exceptional service.
