In what has become a mid-summer classic, Team Bedford & Team Lexington went head-to-head in a softball tournament to see which team would win the trophy for the 3rd annual SERVPRO softball game.
Local business owners, supporters, and sponsors came out to play on the last Saturday in July, bringing non-perishable food items to donate to our local food pantry.
According to Maria Aguire, “This is our third year putting together a softball event and every year they just keep getting better!” Team Bedford took the trophy with a 15-5 win under captain, Amanda Aiken. This is the second year that Bedford has won the tournament.
“We cannot wait for next summer’s tournament,” concluded Aguire. “Will Team Lexington finally defeat Team Bedford? Stay tuned!”
