Construction to expand Lane School is well underway, and 4th grade student Jake Antriasian interviewed Principal Rob Ackerman in a video report to learn about the work so far.

The pair checked the architect’s plans, and visited the rooms in progress. The former computer lab will soon be a pair of state-of-the-art language labs, one for French and the other for Spanish. The front wall of the cafeteria will soon come down, and the resulting expansion will afford Lane School’s growing student population additional space for lunch and for programs. Additional parking spaces have been designated, and an excavation behind the school will soon see the foundation for four brand-new classrooms.

Let’s listen to Jake and Mr. Ackerman explain it all!
