VOTE Tomorrow – Thursday, September 8: Massachusetts Primary Election

Polls will open at 7 am TOMORROW, Thursday, September 8 for the Massachusetts State Primary. The polls will close at 8 pm. All four of Bedford’s precincts vote in the John Glenn Middle School gymnasium.

State representative candidates for the 21st Middlesex district stand alone: incumbent Ken Gordon of Bedford on the Democrat ballot, and Peter Girourard of Burlington on the Republican ballot. State Senator for the 3rd Middlesex district Michael Barrett is on the Democrat ballot. All three are assured a place on the November ballot.

There are two races on the Democratic ballot:

  • Governor’s Councillor Marilyn Pettito Devaney faces opposition from Peter Georgiou of Lincoln and William Bishop Humphrey of Newton
  • Sheriff Peter Koutoujian is running against Barry Kelleher of Wilmington.
