Selectman Mark Siegenthaler announced at the Selectmen’s meeting on Monday, November 21 that he will not seek another term, after serving seven terms, or 21 years.

His term will end after the March 11, 2017 town elections.

Prior to serving as a Selectman, Siegenthaler also served many years on the Planning Board.

In response, Selectman Mike Rosenberg commented, “That is a level of service that will not be matched. It takes my breath away.”

The Bedford Citizen plans a full profile of his service to the Town in the coming weeks.
