The Bedford Citizen is proud to report that within the last few weeks we reached – and quickly surpassed – a cumulative total of ONE MILLION page views since we first began publishing in June of 2012!  We’ve also greatly extended the number of subscribers we reach by email, Twitter, and Facebook.  We’ve posted more than 4,000 stories and too many photos to count.   And in September we rolled out BeTC (with the support of the Bedford Cultural Council), the first unified town calendar for all that is happening in this busy town we call home.  YOU made it all possible with your donations, your loyalty, and a broad array of volunteer contributions of time, articles, photos, letters, and suggestions.

As we prepare to end our 2015-16 Fundraising Campaign, we want to express our sincere gratitude to our supporters.  We are just $2500 short of our goal…so if you haven’t given yet, there is still time.  If you rely on us for news and information about town government, or use us to learn about the many cultural activities and organizations in Bedford…we need your financial support to keep it coming.  Reliable news and information, objectively reported, is a cornerstone of democracy.  Local news also builds community awareness and fosters working together for the good of Bedford.

As always, our future is in your hands.  Please make a donation today using our online DONATE button (click here) or by writing a check to The Bedford Citizen, PO Box 212, Bedford, MA 01730.  The Citizen is a 501(c)3 corporation and all donations are tax exempt to the extent allowed by law.  And again, our thanks.
