On behalf of the Board of Directors, the volunteers and the guests and clients of the Bedford Community Table, I wish to extend our sincere thanks to Richard Hamilton and his crew of volunteers for organizing and running the 2016 Turkey Trot. This year over 321 participants who gave up their Thanksgiving morning to run or walk in the event raised over $9,900.00. This amount will help us continue to provide our Thursday Community Dinner and Food Pantry.
I would also like to thank the businesses and individuals who contributed to our Thanksgiving pantry whether in the form of turkeys or miscellaneous non perishables. Again we also thank Ann Marie Silver and the members of Family Connection along with Paul and Neal from Chip “N” farm for their donation of 110 pies. This year we were able to provide 63 families and individuals with items for a Thanksgiving dinner.
All of us at the Community Table Pantry wish everyone a happy and hopefully peaceful holiday season.
