On February 7, 2013 all of Massachusetts awaited Winter Storm NEMO, a blockbuster nor’easter that dumped nearly 25 inches of snow on Boston, the fifth-highest total ever recorded in the city.

While the National Weather Service doesn’t predict that much snow for Thursday, Bedford should expect 8 to 12 inches of snow, winds gusting to 39 mph, and temperatures as low as 6 degrees, with a wind chill index of -8 overnight on Thursday.

According to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, snow will begin early during Thursday’s morning commute, and quickly become heavy, with both morning and afternoon drive times significantly impacted by the storm.
