Hot on the heels of the New England Patriots’ win in Houston, the Bedford High Varsity Boys Basketball tried for a similar overtime win, but fell to the Weston Wildcats 78-74.

Both teams are atop the DCL Small league, with a hand full of games left in the season.  There was standing room only in the BHS gym, as both teams boasted strong cheering sections.

Malachi Hazelton was the high scorer with 24 points, including a three-point basket in overtime.

Cam Shelmire was the next high scorer with 20 points; including 3 three-point shots.

Pete Kapanides got the crowd on their feet with 5 three point baskets.

This was Bedford’s last home game of the regular season.
