Annual Town Meeting ~ 2017: A First Look at the Votes Taken on Night Two

Although the house wasn’t standing room only, a good-sized crowd arrived for Night Two of Bedford’s 2017 Annual Town Meeting.

On the agenda: the Capital Projects requiring bonding; the Community Preservation budget, including funds to support continuing affordable units at Bedford Village; salary plan, operating budgets and other financial articles.

Article 20: Proposed Fiscal Year 2018 Capital Projects Plan

  • The non-bonded articles passed on Night One
  • All the bonded articles passed on Night Two

Article 21: Community Preservation Budget – Fiscal Year 2018

  • Passed on voice votes

Article 22: PEG Access and Cable Expense Related Budget – Fiscal Year 2018

  • Passed unanimously

Article 23: Supplement Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2017 and Articles of the 2016 Annual Town Meeting

  • Passed unanimously

Article 24: Salary Administration Plan Bylaw Amendment – Classification & Wage Schedule

  • Passed on a voice vote

Article 25: Operating Budgets – Fiscal Year 2018

  • Passed unanimously

Article 26: Ambulance Enterprise Budget – Fiscal Year 2018

  • Passed on a voice vote

Article 27: Salary Plan Additional Funding

  • Passed unanimously

Article 28: Other Post-Employment Benefits Liability Trust Fund Appropriation

  • Passed unanimously

Article 29: Supplement Accrued Sick Leave Fund

  • Passed unanimously

Article 30: Stabilization Fund Appropriation

  • Passed unanimously

Article 31: Free Cash

  • Passed unanimously
