I would like to express my support for Robin Grace as a candidate for Bedford Library Trustee.
As a 20+ year resident of Bedford, I have gotten to know Robin in many capacities: parents of children in the same grade, school volunteers, and organizers, travel pals, friends, and fellow writers.
There is no doubt in my mind of Robin’s devotion to books, town institutions, and fellow residents.
She is engaging and outgoing, with a great capacity for connecting to others. She is good at taking on projects or events, organizing in great detail, generating enthusiasm, and enlisting others to help carry out plans in a successful and cost-effective way. Plus, she’s fun!
There is another side to Robin, as a wonderful writer and communicator with a great wealth of knowledge on literature, history, geography, arts, culture, and many other topics.
Personally, I have valued Robin’s insights and efforts on racial and social awareness in this town, and I am proud that her sons and my sons have formed friendship circles that are positive and supportive, with remarkable diversity.
