Annual Town Meeting leads off the week on Monday, March 27 and will present to the voters a warrant that is the culmination of many hours of work by boards and staff. Decisions will be made on budgets, zoning changes, capital expenditures, Community Preservation budget, and other matters of concern to the Town. It is anticipated that the meeting will need to adjourn to a second night on Tuesday.
Prior to Town Meeting, several boards had posted meetings that will probably be dedicated to finalizing their decisions and presentations. On Monday and Tuesday, the Selectmen and Planning Board will meet at 6:30 pm and the Finance Committee at 7 pm. The Planning Board will meet in the high school library; the Selectmen in the principal’s conference room; and the Finance Committee in the auditorium.
Town Meeting is open to all registered voters. The warrant describing the actions the Town will vote on has been mailed to every household but is also available at the check-in desk and at this link: https://www.bedfordma.gov/sites/bedfordma/files/2017_atm_warrant_final.pdf
