Bedford High School’s Class of 2017 Senior Prom took place on Tuesday, May 30 at the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, after the 20th annual Prom Stroll and class photograph on the Common and at Old Town Hall, across South Road. Prom Stroll is a project of the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and thanks to Diane Cadogan Hughes and Sheena Santos it is sponsored by Barrett Sotheby International Real Estate Company.
Hundreds of prom-goers in their finest gathered late on Tuesday afternoon, to the delight of the friends and families who watched and to the chagrin of motorists who found rush hour traffic on The Great Road even heavier and slower than normal, with South Road closed between Bedford Common and Loomis Street.
Visuals tell this story, and The Citizen is indebted to Jeff JHO Hoyland, Richard Krusemark, Dawn Murphy, and Nancy Daugherty for sharing their images.
