Compiled by The Bedford Citizen
Despite our current cool temperatures and grey skies, spring is here. If you have been out and about in Bedford over the past few weeks, you may have noticed an increase in color on rotary islands and around town buildings like the library.
The Club plants and maintains gardens at the following intersections: Brooksbie Road and Great Road; Burlington Road and Old Billerica Road; North Road and Chelmsford Road; Page Road and Old Billerica Road; Springs Road and Hillside Avenue; Springs Road and Pine Hill Road; Loomis Street and Webeber Avenue; Burlington Road and Hume Road; Shawsheen Road and Page Road, South Road and Railroad Avenue; Davis Road and Concord Road.
In addition, the club oversees plantings at the Bedford Free Public Library, Old Town Hall, the daylily garden on Shawsheen Road, and the Dutton Herb Garden at the Job Lane House.
Bedford residents are invited to learn more about the Garden Club by visiting its website, www.bedfordgardenclub.org.
Thank you for making Bedford beautiful… 🌷
