Pam’s Run is dedicated to the memory of Pam Manikas Washek, the founder of Neighbor Brigade, who lost her battle with cancer in 2012.  She was a tireless champion for families facing sudden crisis and strongly supported providing free and immediate services for those in need by coordinating the efforts of community volunteers. It was a simple, effective, and successful idea that has been replicated in more than 30 communities. The goal of Pam’s Run is to raise critical funding for the continued operations and ability to reach individuals and families in need of support and assistance.

Amy Mason, Chapter Leader of the Bedford Neighbor Brigade reported, “Registration is now open for Pam’s Run! Join the Bedford Neighbor Brigade Team to run or walk on Sunday, October 15 in Wayland. There is a kids run again this year as well with lots of activities planned for the little ones. Can’t join us? Make a donation to support Neighbor Brigade! Be sure to share this link with others! See you there! We have many opportunities for sponsorship at Pam’s Run, and it’s also a great opportunity to come out and learn more about Neighbor Brigade.”
