Callahan’s was invited to showcase their school by performing a karate demonstration at the awards banquet dinner on Saturday evening to an audience of over 400 martial arts leaders from the US, England, and Australia.

The demo team was comprised of 11 Callahan’s Leadership students ranging in ages from 9 to 22. The team of black belts was led by 3 of its members who also choreographed the impressive 9-minute performance. The three instructor leaders, Robert Ackerman, Kevin Falco and Julia Goding, all began their martial arts training at Callahan’s before the age of 6 and are now in college.

Richard and Winnie Callahan were also featured speakers at the event and shared their experiences growing Callahan’s Karate in the Bedford community over the last 23 years.
