Meet Here – Map (c) Bedford Trails Committee

The next Bedford Town Trail Walk will take place at 9:45 am on Saturday, November 4. The destination? Two Brothers Rocks, an icon of Bedford’s history, located along the Concord River near the far end of Dudley Road.

Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free Trail Walk in the woods. We will explore the Altman Conservation Area, which leads to Two Brothers Rocks.  The walk will last about 1-1/2 hours and begin at the kiosk at Dudley & Emery Roads. We will walk to the river where we will see the Two Brothers Rocks, then head by Harvard Pond and slowly make our way back. For a longer walk, you can then cross the street and head up the Minnie Reid trail.

When and Where
We meet at 9:45 AM at the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public Library.  Alternatively, you can meet us at the trailhead at Dudley Road & Emery Road (see map), where we will leave at 10:10 am sharp. From the Bedford Free Public Library, follow Great Road (Rt. 4) north to North Rd. (still Rt. 4), left on Dudley. Total distance 2.9 mi.
