A Message from The Bedford Citizen
Now that Halloween is upon us, it’s time to scare you…..
Imagine a loud noise in the basement. You know you locked the door, but still… you want to be sure. You slowly open the door to the basement, the hinges creak from years of neglect, your heart rate starts to rise. Soon a little sweat appears on your forehead. You get spooked as you walk into a spider web. Then you flip the light switch, and it is clear there is nothing to fear.
In some way, albeit tortured (It’s Halloween, bear with me). The Bedford Citizen is the light switch. The only way to know what is going on in our town is for people to be informed.
That is the mission of the Bedford Citizen, to go to the meetings, to make sense of what goes on in this town. To keep the lights on.
Just like the real lights, this light doesn’t stay on for free. We need your help. We have writers, we have a website, we have editors. In short, we need money.
