Submitted by Ed McGrath, Bedford’s Trash/Recycling Coordinator

Because of road closures and clean-up work, trash and/or recycling on the following streets is not expected to be collected today, October 30. Republic Services will not be able to return later this week. Republic will collect the trash/recycling on these streets next Monday, November 6.

These residents will be able to put out the equivalent of a trash cart (48 gallons) in regular trash bags next Monday, and will not need to use an overflow bag.

  • Robinson Drive between Crestview Road and Overlook Drive
  • Hayden Lane
  • Orchard Road from Great Road to Oregon Ave.
  • Franklin Road from Sunset Road to Alaska Ave.

Editor’s Note: While early morning estimates of homes without power in Bedford was significantly lower, at 7:15 pm there were 459 affected households.
