A second Thanksgiving weekend classic sports event involving a BHS team will take place at The Edge Sports Center at 12:40 pm on Friday, November 24 when the BUCS Hockey team takes on the BHS Alumni and veteran players from town departments.
Admission is $5 per person; children 10 and under are free with a non-perishable food donation which will be brought to the Bedford Food Pantry. No advance tickets will be sold.
The BHS roster will be announced shortly, but playing for the Aumni/Town team will be:
- Alumni: Nick Anderson, Matt Barbieri, Jake Citrano, Jimmy Collins, Robert Collins, Brennan LaGrassa, Josh Parrella, Matt Piccirillo, Mike Wilson, Nick Wilson, and Steve Wilson.
- Board of Health: Katharine Dagle
- DPW: Derek O’Rourke
- Fire: Nick Anderson, Sam Panzeri, Pete Spencer, and Patrick Stewart,
- Police: Mark Barbieri
- Police and Fire Dispatch: Justin Brooks
The game is a fundraiser for the BHS Hockey team and the Asberger/Autism Network (AANE). There will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the BHS Hockey Team, and raffled prizes to support The Asperger / Autism Network (AANE) – Asperger Syndrome & ASDhttps://www.aane.org/

Organizer Nick Anderson, a Bedford firefighter and goalie, says, “Let’s fill the stands to support the teams, and their fundraising efforts!”
