Beginning on Monday, December 4, the Dash, Bedford’s dial-a-ride, on-demand service, will begin its daily service an hour earlier, at 11 am. The Dash day will extend, as it has, until 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
Trips can be booked to Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Concord (on Monday and Tuesday only), and Lexington, depending on availability.Whether you’re headed to the Nutrition Site at the Council on Aging, the Food Pantry or Community Supper, or to the market, the Dash is there for you. Or, if you’re headed to a medical appointment, the hairdresser, or a friend’s house for coffee, the Dash is ready to be your ride.
Middle School or High School students(ages 12 to 18) may take the DASH with a parent’s signed permission form on file. Forms and more information are available at www.bedforddash.com under the “Permission Packet” section.
