Thanks to Bedford’s faith communities – First Baptist Church, Immanuel Baptist Church, St. Michael Parish, First Church of Christ Congregational, St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Lutheran Church of the Savior, and First Parish Unitarian Universalist – for sharing their Advent, Christmas Eve, and Christmas service schedules.

The churches and services are open to the public, and newcomers are especially welcome during the holidays.

Christmas Eve
11 am: As Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, we will be having an informal service in the Koebele Music Chapel, with familiar music and a brief Christmas reflection.
4 pm: Please join us for a service for children of all ages, featuring lessons, carols, and our traditional “instant pageant.”

Led by ministers and guests from the Boston Circus Guild
Christmas Eve
4 pm: Christmas Eve Family Service. This service is an uplifting way for families to spend time together and celebrate the joy of the evening.
8 pm: Traditional Christmas Eve service with candles, carols, luscious music and a homily by Revs. John Gibbons & Megan Lynes.
Note: Prelude music will begin at 7:40 pm.
Christmas Day
No service is planned on Christmas Day but, in accord with the 1926 wishes of Clara Blinn, the steeple bell is to be rung “on Christmas Day in the morning.” Bell-ringers welcome at 10 am!
