Bedford Boys Indoor Track beat Wayland 57-44 using its depth of student-athletes, in all grades – from freshmen through seniors.

If Bedford road races are any indication of the future of BHS’s track performances, we are in good hands, or feet . . .

Notable performances at the meet:

Senior Jerry Liao took 1st place in the shot put (A personal best: 38’10”)

Senior Joey Robinson captured 1st place in the mile (5:04.33) and was part of the winning 4x400m relay (3:55.12)

Senior Nolan Holley garnered a 1st place in long jump (18’4″), 1st place in the 300m (39.41), and was part of the winning 4x400m relay (3:55.12). Holley is new to indoor track this year

Junior  Brenden Spaulding brought home a 1st place in the high jump (5’0″) and a 1st place in his debut in the  55m hurdles (10.10).

Junior Jasper Shapiro took 1st place in the 2 Mile with a personal best (10:28.65)

Sophomore Andrew Presti captured a 1st place in the 1000m (2:59.35) in his debut in the event

The next meet is 4:30 pm December 20th vs. Waltham High School  @ Reggie Lewis Track Center.
