The 2017-2018 winter sports season is closing with some big excitement: Three Bedford High School squads are currently playing in championship tournaments, and several BUCS have been named to the DCL Small League All Stars.
Three contests in three days:
- Bedford Cheer competes at 3 pm on Sunday, February 25 – in Hopkinton
- BHS Girls Varsity Basketball vs Whittier Regional Vocational Tech on Monday, February 26 – in a home game at 7 pm
- BHS Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Saugus at Bedford on Tuesday, February 27 – in a home game at 7 pm
DCL Hall of Fame
Four members of the 2018 DCL Small School Championship Buccanneers basketball team have been named to the league’s Hall of Fame, including Seniors Jack Cowan, #11, and Casey Millar, #33; Junior Panayiotis “Pete” Kapanides, #22, also named the league’s Most Valuable Player; and Sophomore Malachi Hazelton, #20.
