While it didn’t seem to be crowded for those arriving early, very few seats remained empty when Annual Town Meeting 2018 got underway.

There were Brownies and Cubs, along with old friends and new acquaintances.  As someone was heard to say, “THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!”

The agenda will resume with Article 9 at 7:30 pm in the auditorium of Bedford High School, and many important decisions remain.

Voters will debate and decide the balance of the Great Road Business zoning articles; bond authorizations for the Davis School expansion and the Boardwalk alongside Davis Road; the FY2019 Community Preservation budget; the Capital Expenditures budget; the School Department budget and the Town’s overall budget.

To say nothing of the articles about sewer connections and penalties for illegally depositing trash in Town refuse and recycling containers.
