Bedford Town Government at Work for the Week of May 7, 2018

Below are highlights from posted agendas of official town meetings.  Meetings are at Town Hall unless another location is indicated.

The Board of Health will meet Monday night at 7 pm at Town Center. They will be meeting with Rebecca Caruso, Biosafety Consultant, to discuss Bedford’s program and inspection process.  At 8 pm they are holding a hearing on the regulation of smoking in workplaces and public spaces.

Also on Monday the Selectmen will meet at 7:30 pm and will interview seven additional candidates for the Town Manager screening committee.  Five candidates were interviewed the previous week. Tuesday night the Planning Board will review preliminary options for parking and circulation plans for 54 Middlesex Turnpike.  They will hear updates on potential zoning by-law amendments as well as updates on current developments.

On Tuesday the Library Trustees will meet in the library meeting room at 7 pm.  The agenda includes a report on the auction of the Bowie Knife that had been donated to the library.  They will hear a report on the library branding project and review Internet policy.
