When Bedford appreciates the Department of Public Works, it’s often when snow almost magically disappears from town roads after a winter storm, but the DPW does some of its best work in advance of Memorial Day.

From making certain that Bedford’s boat landing looked its very best for Friday’s ceremony to dedicate the Hart-Desiato bridge, to working with students from the Nashoba Learning Group as they set an American flag at each Veteran’s grave in Shawsheen Cemetery, the DPW has been busy over the past several weeks.
