The Bedford High School Theater Department presents the second annual Playwright’s Festival. The six plays in this festival are written, directed, and designed by BHS students. A single performance will take place at 7 pm on Friday, May 11 in the BHS auditorium.

The playwrights are Parker DeBaryshe, Jillian Guetersloh, Will Potter, Lucy Santiago, and Eran Zelixon. Eran Zelixon will also perform his history fair performance entitled Terezín: Creation as Compromise before he competes at the National History Day Competition.

Twenty-five students are involved as actors, directors, designers, or writers. The performance will culminate in an optional talk-back with the student writers and directors of the plays. Audience members will have the chance to ask the writers and directors specific questions about the process of writing and directing the plays.
